Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using RingRetriever. By using the service you agree to be bound by these terms.
Acceptance of terms
By creating an account and using RingRetriever, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users of the platform.
Description of service
RingRetriever is a missed-call text-back service for small businesses. When a call to your business phone is missed and forwarded to our system, we automatically send an SMS reply to the caller on your behalf. You are responsible for configuring your phone forwarding and for the content of messages sent under your account.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or your business. RingRetriever is available for US-based businesses only at this time.
Subscription and billing
Access to RingRetriever requires a paid subscription. Billing is monthly and recurring. You authorize us to charge the payment method on file at the start of each billing period. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. — by subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. Prices may change with 30 days' notice. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation, and you will retain access through the end of the period you paid for.
SMS and messaging compliance
By using RingRetriever, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing commercial SMS, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and CTIA guidelines. You are responsible for ensuring that messages sent through your account comply with applicable law. You must not use RingRetriever to send spam, illegal content, or unsolicited messages to individuals who have not called your business number.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use RingRetriever to transmit illegal, harmful, or abusive content; to interfere with or disrupt the service; to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform; or to resell or sublicense access to the service without written permission.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RingRetriever and its owners, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days prior to the claim.
Disclaimer of warranties
RingRetriever is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that messages will be delivered in all cases. SMS delivery is subject to carrier availability and regulations.
Changes to terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice in your dashboard. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
